Council of Fellows
The Council of Fellows is an honorary body within the National Guild of Private Broadcast Managers, comprising distinguished media leaders recognized for their excellence, leadership, and long-term contributions to the broadcast industry.
Eligibility & Selection
Candidates must have 10–15 years of experience in media management and may include pioneering media entrepreneurs, founders, and industry veterans. Induction is conducted through a formal selection process by the Standing Committee on Induction, Hall of Fame, Rewards & Recognitions.
Roles & Responsibilities
Fellows serve as advisors to the National Executive Council (NEC), providing strategic insights, mentoring emerging media managers, and participating in Guild events, policy discussions, and industry standardization efforts.
Privileges
Fellows receive senior leadership recognition, may be appointed to advisory committees and leadership roles, and are given special acknowledgment at Guild conventions, awards, and industry events. They may also be assigned to special functions on behalf of the Guild leadership. The Fellowship represents the highest professional honor within the Guild, celebrating individuals who have made significant contributions to Nigeria’s broadcasting landscape.
